Journaling should be a normal part of your class time.

Consider starting or ending your class by having students write in their journals.

Have the topic written on the board when they come into class.  Have them spend 5-10 minutes reflecting and writing about the topic

Name 3 friends, how good of a friend are you?  How could you be a better friend?

Sometimes we do not see the whole person.  Who are two people you are critical of? Why? Now write down one positive quality for each of those people.

A person of the opposite sex that is my own age that I most admire? Why?

Eight things I enjoy doing and why.

Three things I would like ot ask God about
