Project Andrew
Project Andrew is a great opportunity to learn more about the life Christ desires each one of us to live. This is a relaxed setting in which you will be with other guys (sophomore in high school through college), and learn how Christ calls ordinary guys to live an extraordinary life. The evening is not about pressuring you to become a priest, but allowing God to choose a life for you that is always bigger and better than you would choose for yourself. Even if you are dating, you will have a better understanding of how to do in the future exactly what Christ is asking you to do with your life, no matter what your vocation may be.
Here's what Doug Leikam, 18, had to say about Project Andrew: "The witness that Project Andrew gave me was very definitive. In high school now our modern culture tells us not to even look at the priesthood as an option. But in reality God wants us to discern our vocation between many possibilities, not just marriage. This is where Project Andrew helped open my heart, and begin looking at a possible vocation to the priesthood. I saw there were many other guys my age that were open to looking into this. It also provided a great time to ask the bishop and other guys just like me questions. It mostly inspired me to continue to grow in my prayer life, because they told us that through prayer God can help let us know if we are called. And you can't beat an awesome meal.

You will get to meet, eat, and pray with Archbishop Naumann as well as other priests who will share their call stories, reactions, and ultimately the rewards of being ordained a priest for Jesus Christ. Project Andrew includes a great dinner and time for questions and answers. Parents of participants are invited to attend to support their sons. They will eat together, have their own presentation by parents of seminarians, and have time to ask Archbishop questions. The event is free. Choose one of these two fall sessions. Please register as soon as possible but no later than the Wednesday prior to the dinner.
Club 31
Club 31 members commit to pray for vocations (individually or as a family) one day each month. Club 31 also prays for and supports our diocese seminarians.
Prayer for Vocations
Heavenly Father, with a deep trust in the love that flows from the heart of your Son, and by the gifts of your Holy Spirit, give to the seminarians, novices and all young people of the Archdiocese the courage to respond generously when you call them to the priesthood and religious life.
Give them strong examples of holy priests and religious. Through the intercession of the saints and by our prayers, help them pattern their lives after Mary, who was not afraid to let it be done to her according to your Word (Lk 1:38). We ask this through Christ our Lord. Amen.
