Wed, Feb 8th - GIFT, 6:30pm, Eucharist

Tues, Feb 14th - Camp Tekakwitha Registration opens for incoming 5th & 6th graders, 9am

JR. HIGH YOUTH RALLY

j-hi rally logoIt's time again for the Jr. High Youth Rally!!  It's a great day full of music, skits, games, hilarious stories, lots of friends and great Jesus time.

The 2012 Junior High Youth Rally will take place on Sunday February, 26th from 9:30am to 4pm. We will meet at 8:15am in the south parking lot at St. Michael. Every child must have a signed permission slip (below) and $15 turned in by February 9th. Don't forget, everyone needs to bring a sack lunch too!popple

This year Popple, a hilarious and entertaining duo, will be the keynote speaker at the rally.      We will also have the Mikey Needleman Band and Mass with Fr. Gary Pennings.


This year there are some awesome t-shirts available for purchase as well.  Students can pre-order a shirt for $10 on the website or buy one for $15 at the rally.

To register please fill out the permission slip and return it to Sara or Aaron along with $15 by February 9th.  Your child can also pick up the permission slip up at GIFT.

Parents: If you are available, we need help driving and chaperoning. If you would like to help please contact Sara at (913) 402 3945.  If you have any questions about the event, please feel free to contact Sara as well.

CAMP TEKAKWITHA REGISTRATION

Feb 7th & Feb 14th, 9am

Camp Tekakwitha is the Archdiocesan run, Catholic, week-long, overnight adventure camp for 5th -12th graders.  Throughout the course of the week students will participate in bible studies, camp fires, rock climbing, horseback riding, Christian concerts, canoeing, mountain boarding, swimming, zip lining, mountain biking, and of course Mass.  It is one of the most amazing gems in our archdiocese.  If you would like more info about the camp, talk to Sara (402-3945) or click HERE.

You can register online or you can fill out the paper application (at the front desk of the parish, school and Christian Ed offices).  Spots fill up very fast, so make sure that you register on time if you want to go!
