Chicken ~n~ Stuff Recipe

Chicken ~n~ Stuff

Ingredients:

2 six serving boxes of Chicken or Turkey Stuffing Mix

3 to 4 cups cooked chicken, diced OR 2 -10 oz cans chicken

2 cans Cream of Chicken soup

1 cup milk

6-8 oz shredded cheddar cheese

 

Directions:

Preheat oven to 325 degrees

Prepare stuffing mix according to package directions and spread in pan provided (9 X 13)

Top stuffing with 1/3 of cheese - about 2 oz

In a separate bowl, mix soup and milk; pour about 1 cup over the stuffing.

Layer the chicken over the milk/soup mixture that’s on the stuffing.

Sprinkle 1/3 of the cheese about 2 oz over the chicken.

Pour remaining milk/soup mixture over chicken

Sprinkle last 1/3 or 2 oz of shredded cheddar cheese over the top of casserole.

Bake uncovered in a 325 degree oven and 45 minutes.

Spray a large piece of aluminum foil with cooking spray.  Place sprayed side down on top of casserole to protect casserole during ride to St. Mary's. 

 Approximate prep time, 15 minutes, serves 8
