This is a pool of volunteers that will be invited to help when we have parish-wide events. There is no specific commiment, only the willingness to be called when volunteers are needed.

Gardening Angels

Maintaining the grounds of St. Michael the Archangel campus is a labor of love and surely is a real group effort!

Within the Gardening Angels group are 13 members of the Groundskeeping crew, 36 Gardeners who adopt and care for a specific garden on campus, and approx. 15-18 other volunteers who will help on special projects or specified work days.

We have many parent/child teams, entire families who care for their adopted gardens, and individuals who all love to be good stewards of God's creation!

Our youngest Gardening Angel is 11/2 years old and our oldest is 70 years young! :)

Maintain and enhance the Parish grounds by planting, mowing, trimming, weeding,watering, and gathering for special landscaping projects. Choose your own schedule to meet your needs. Equipment is provided.

Green Team

Parishioners in grades K-5 volunteer their time to keep St. Michael’s grounds litter free.

Meals for the Sick

Prepare and deliver meals to parish families or individuals in need due to illness or crisis.
Participation varies to fit your schedule or interests.

Parish Office Support

Answer phones, photocopy, type, file and help prepare for large projects and group mailings. Confidentiality is essential.

Money Counting

Help count weekly contributions from 8 a.m. to 10 a.m. on Mondays. Confidentiality is essential.

Rectory Cleaning

Provide house cleaning at the rectory once per month on a Wednesday, Thursday or Friday.

Rectory Meals

Provide meals for our priests. Frequency depends on number of participants, but time commitment is usually two meals per year.

Recycling Team

Help gather and haul recycling items at St. Michael's to local recycling centers.Participation varies to fit your schedule or interests.

Snow Angels

Help with snow removal from Parish grounds on an as-needed basis.Participation may vary depending on the number of participants.
