Committee Member’s Responsibilities

Committee members should attend regular meetings and take an active role

Be present at Church events sponsored by your group

Actively reach out to parishioners for new members (i.e. New Member Welcome/Wine and Cheese)

Chairperson

Requirements:   Second Year Committee Member/One-Year Term

Duties:

Prepare the Agenda 

Notify Members of Meetings

Send out reminder email to ALL committee members including Parish Council Liaison (if applicable) the week prior to the meeting

Run the Meetings

Attend Stewardship Committee Meetings

Vice-Chair

Requirements:   First or Second Year Committee Member/One-Year Term

Duties:

Assist the Chair in his/her duties

Reserve the Meeting Room at least one week in advance

Stewardship Leader

Requirements: Any committee member/ One-Year Term

Duties:

Lead the opening prayer and Scripture Reading Discussion

Attend Stewardship Committee meetings

Assist your committee in a Stewardship Plan

Secretary

Requirements: First year Committee Member/One-Year Term

Duties:

Record the minutes at each meeting
