Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communions assist the priest and deacon in sharing the Body and Blood of Christ with the faithful at Mass or by taking Holy Communion to those who are too ill or aged to attend Mass.
Training for New Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion
Part 1: Tuesday, April 16, from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the St. Gabriel Room
Part 2: Tuesday, April 23
Homebound Ministry: 6:00 p.m. in the St. Joseph Conference Room
EMHCs for Mass: 7:00 p.m. in church
Requirements to serve as an EMHC:
Be at least 16 years of age and have received the sacrament of Confirmation
If married, must be in a valid Catholic marriage.
