Maintaining the grounds of St. Michael the Archangel campus is a labor of love and group effort. Our 16-acre campus is maintained by three groups: groundskeeping crew, (mowing and trimming of 10 zones); gardening crew, (care for each of the 15 landscaped areas surrounding the school, church, and rectory); and additional volunteers who work special projects. The grounds and gardens are "adopted" and maintained yearly, and many volunteers have been with this ministry since inception.
We welcome youth but ask that volunteers under 18 have an adult with them while working on campus.
For more information about the mowing team contact Tim Renfro or Ken Madsen.
For more information about maintaining or adopting a garden contact Chip (913.485.8343) or Erin (913.220.9662) Tuttle.
We can use your help when it snows. You are welcome to bring a shovel and help clear paths around the school and church.
