The Church strives to provide a heart of service inclined to those who may be unable to provide for themselves, including time with Jesus. Each Sunday our Extraordinary Ministers of the Eucharist to the Sick & Homebound - take Holy Communion to homebound parishioners and those Catholics who are in nursing homes and assisted living facilities within our boundaries.
We offer special training a few times each year. If you have ever felt called to assist in bringing Jesus to our Homebound parishioners, please contact Cesar Gomez for more information.
"Wisdom of the Heart means being with our brothers and sisters. Time spent with the sick is holy time. It is a way of praising God who conforms us to the image of His Son, who [...] himself said: 'I am among you as the one who serves' (Lk 22:27)"
-Pope Francis, 2015 World Day of the Sick
