All new members are invited to attend our New Member Social that occur approximately three times per year. Please join us to meet our priests and mingle with other new members. There are also members of various committees present so that you can learn about various miniteries and ways to become involved in our parish.
Please call Desiree Greco, Parish Life Coordinator 913-402-3969 to ask questions and to learn more about St. Michael the Archangel.
You always have a home in the Catholic Church! We know life always has ups and downs, twists and turns. Maybe you left decades ago or just this morning. Maybe you never really decided one way or the other, but just sort of drifted away. Maybe you felt burned or betrayed by an individual who was supposed to represent the Church. Whatever your situation, there is a place for you here with us.
Those who become part of our parish community are not always Catholic or sometimes even Christian. If you are among those in our community who are not yet baptized, or who were baptized Christian as part of another faith tradition, we want to walk with you. RCIA—the “Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults” is the way in which the Church will accompany you on your personal journey of faith in the person of Jesus Christ. It is a journey to be taken in stages, marked by liturgical rites in the presence of the whole community, in which seekers like you join us on a life-changing path of continuing conversion to fullness of life following Jesus, who is the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
