“Behold this Heart (Sacred Heart of Jesus), which has loved so much but has received nothing but coldness, indifference, and ingratitude in return.” - Jesus' voice to St Margaret Mary
We live in a world that information is never lacking in access. Our minds are full.
Our attention is the most valuable commodity that is desired. Our eyes are occupied.
Yet we are found endlessly seeking for our hearts to be full as the world offers us food that lacks fulfillment. But Our Lord and our Blessed Mother are seeking our hearts to love as they love. You and I are loved. We are called to love as He loves us.
As we seek to dive into the depths of an eternal dialogue between the Immaculate Heart and the Sacred Heart, may our hearts be transformed to be like Our Lord's and Our Lady's.
The Lord, in His mercy and love, seeks to liberate each one of us from chains that bind us in our day-to-day lives, and indeed it is only the Lord who can truly liberate us from whatever keeps us down in this life.Along with a commitment to living the 5 stones by households in our community we will be organizing neighborhood gatherings for communal Enthronement's of the Sacred Heart. Launching on the Feast of the Holy Family we are building momentum in this movement for hearts to be transformed by the grace of the Sacred Heart of Jesus and the intercession of the Immaculate Heart of Mary.
"Wherever the Image of My Sacred Heart is publicly expose and honored, I will pour out graces of sanctification and salvation; I will touch unfeeling hearts, I will reunite divided families, I will help them in all their needs." (Jesus promised to St Margaret Mary)
Raymond Cardinal Burke on enthroning the Sacred Heart of Jesus in the home:Inspired by Pope Francis' encyclical released in October of 2024, Dilexit nos (He Loved Us) we will be setting up opportunities for homes to Enthrone the Sacred Heart of Jesus and to live daily under the promises given to St. Margaret Mary to those who commit to consoling the heart of Jesus.
The center of devotion to the Sacred Heart of Jesus is the Enthronement of the image of the Sacred Heart in the home. By the Enthronement of the Sacred Heart, we link the tabernacle of our parish church to our home, inviting our Lord to be our constant and most intimate companion. The Enthronement is a way of life. It means that Christ is King of our hearts and we desire Him to be present with us always. In other words, by the Enthronement, we signify our desire to make our hearts and our homes holy, to sanctify our lives in every aspect.
“I ask our Lord Jesus Christ to grant that His Sacred Heart may continue to pour forth the streams of living water that can heal the hurt we have caused, strengthen our ability to love and serve others, and inspire us to journey together towards a just, solidary and fraternal world. Until that day when we will rejoice in celebrating together the banquet of the heavenly kingdom in the presence of the risen Lord, who harmonizes all our differences in the light that radiates perpetually from his open heart. May he be blessed forever” (Dilexit nos, 220).
Keep your devotion to the Sacred Heart strong! Check out the nine First Fridays Devotion to do with your family. This is an easy way to renew your devotion to the Sacred Heart each month.
On the anniversary of the enthronement, you can have a little celebration to remember and reconsecrate your home. It would be especially great to invite the priest who enrolled your home to participate in the annual celebration!
